Elon Musk and Ashley St. Clair’s past Twitter exchanges have come under renewed scrutiny following her recent claim that the tech billionaire is the father of her newborn child. 

The resurfaced tweets, which date back to early 2023, showcase a history of flirtatious interactions between the X owner and the conservative activist.

A History of Playful Exchanges

Musk, 53, and St. Clair, 26, allegedly first met in early 2023, around the time their online banter began. 

In February of that year, Musk tweeted a simple “420,” a number often associated with cannabis culture. St. Clair quickly responded with “69,” 

a reference to the well-known sexual position, sparking speculation about their connection.

Their interactions continued to escalate in June 2023 when St. Clair posted a screenshot of an article about Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin telling his troops to stand down. Musk replied, making a risqué joke: “The ‘pull out’ method. Speaking personally, I obviously prefer the pull in method.” St. Clair responded humorously with a meme featuring a dog hitting Musk on the head with a wooden baseball bat, captioned, “Go to horny jail. BONK.”

A month later, Musk made another suggestive tweet about content moderation on X, joking that a user’s account was flagged “by our d–k pic bot.” St. Clair found his comment amusing and replied with, “‘Our d–k pic bot,’” adding a skull emoji. Musk doubled down on the joke, replying, “Sometimes it thinks rocket pics are d–ks, which is … crazy of course.”

These exchanges, initially seen as lighthearted, have gained a new significance in light of St. Clair’s recent revelations.

St. Clair’s Shocking Paternity Claim

On February 14, 2025, St. Clair publicly announced that she had given birth five months earlier and that Musk was the father of her child.

“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” she wrote on X. “I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days, it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.”

She went on to emphasize her desire to shield the child from public scrutiny.

“I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment,” she stated, urging the media to respect their privacy.

St. Clair Calls Out Musk for Silence

The next day, February 15, St. Clair took to X again, expressing frustration over Musk’s alleged lack of response. In a now-deleted tweet, she criticized him for not publicly acknowledging their child.

“Elon, we have been trying to communicate for the past several days, and you have not responded,” she wrote.

She also referenced another online controversy involving an individual who had allegedly shared inappropriate images of her from when she was 15.

“When are you going to reply to us instead of publicly responding to smears from an individual who just posted photos of me in underwear at 15 years old?” she added.

St. Clair’s Representative Weighs In

Following the online controversy, Brian Glicklich, a representative for St. Clair, issued a statement confirming that she and Musk had been engaged in private discussions regarding their child’s upbringing.

“It is disappointing that a tabloid reporter, who repeatedly ambushed Ashley and her family, made it impossible to complete that process confidentially,” Glicklich wrote.

He added that they were waiting for Musk to publicly acknowledge his alleged role as the child’s father to put an end to speculation.

“Ashley trusts that Elon intends to finish their agreement quickly, in the best interests of the wellbeing and security of the child they share,” he stated.

Musk’s Response—or Lack Thereof

As of now, Musk has not publicly commented on St. Clair’s claims or the resurfaced tweets. Given the billionaire’s history of high-profile relationships and his well-documented stance on population growth—having previously encouraged people to have more children—his silence has only fueled speculation.

Musk, who is already a father to multiple children with different women, has yet to confirm or deny the allegations, leaving the situation in a state of uncertainty.

With public interest continuing to mount, all eyes remain on whether Musk will address St. Clair’s claims or let the controversy unfold without intervention.
