Kim Woodburn Receives an Outpouring of Support Following Health Update
TV personality Kim Woodburn has shared a health update with her fans, revealing that she is scheduled to undergo eye surgery.
As a result, she will be taking a temporary break from social media and video recordings until early March.
The former How Clean Is Your House? star posted a printed message on her official Instagram page, informing her followers of the upcoming procedure.
Accompanying the post was the caption, “Due to eye surgery,” prompting an immediate wave of support from fans.
Messages of encouragement quickly poured in, with one follower writing, “Hope you’re okay, dear Kim. Wishing you a speedy recovery xx.”
Another added, “I hope you are okay, Kim. I’m looking forward to seeing you again soon. Keep well, lovely lady xx.” A third supporter commented, “I hope the surgery goes well, Kim. Lots of love.”
Kim, best known for her appearances on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and Celebrity Big Brother, also stated in her post that she would not be able to record personal video greetings until March 7. The TV personality offers personalized messages for fans, which she sells for £25 per video.
Kim has previously spoken about her struggles with vision impairment, disclosing that her eyesight has always been limited. She explained, “If you watch me carefully, you will see I never stare at people and I blink a lot. If I do have to see something across the room, I swivel my entire body around and look from my good eye.”
She further revealed, “I was born with little or no sight in my right eye and not great sight in my left eye.”
Kim Woodburn rose to fame through How Clean Is Your House?, where she and co-host Aggie MacKenzie helped transform dirty homes. However, her outspoken personality made her a household name on reality television, particularly during her time on I’m A Celebrity in 2009, where she finished as the runner-up behind Italian chef Gino D’Acampo.
