Emma Watson gazes at Rupert Grint’s lips, his reaction shocks the set…They kiss? (video)

Emma Watson shot to fame as the young wizard Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series.

Picked out as a young 11-year-old, she and her co-stars became the biggest thing since sliced bread.

But it wasn’t always plain sailing for Watson, and in the early days of the series, there were a few teething problems.

During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, the 33-year-old opened up about the films and how they had changed her life.

Watson admitted to the host that it’s a rarity for an actor to go to their first audition and be cast in something so monumental, and that would take over their life.

So the host took her on a trip down memory lane, all the way back to the first movie, Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone, and a scene that never saw the light of day.

“Now, there’s a video tape that someone on the show found, it’s like an outtake from the movie,” Kimmel told Watson.

“I would encourage people to watch very closely Emma’s lips throughout this.”

In the scene, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint), and Hermione are discussing Snape and the suspicions they have about him.

And, like Kimmel said, if you watch Watson’s lips during the conversation, she is mouthing everyone’s lines as they’re being said.

So when Ron says, ‘If all Snap wants is the Sorcerer’s stone’, she says the exact same thing.

Responding to the clip, Watson said: “This is actually quite traumatic for me because I created issues because of this. I would ruin takes.

“Chris (Columbus, the director) would be like, ‘Cut. Emma, you’re doing it again. You’re mouthing Dan’s lines’.

“And I’d be like, ‘Oh, I’m so sorry, so sorry, oh. I feel so bad’. But like, I couldn’t help myself.

“It was like I was such a loser, I really loved those books, I really wanted to do my job well, and I kind of overdid it.”

In another bit of Harry Potter nostalgia, a clip of a young Watson from a press conference for the first film was doing the rounds recently.

In the short video, the assembled media ask the famous trio how they planned on using their newfound wealth.

And Watson can be seen answering the question first, replying as you might expect.

“Erm, I’m afraid I’m really gonna bore all of you, but I’m afraid I’m gonna stick it in a bank until I’m 21,” she said.

But what about the main guy, Radcliffe? Surely, he went and splashed out on something big, right?

Well, he may have, but the shy actor wasn’t giving anything away at the time.

“Erm, I… no, I don’t have any idea,” he admitted.

And then, finally, his sidekick Grint, who simply branded it ‘muggle money’, which as a wizard, he ‘didn’t really understand it’.
