Piers Morgan Has ‘Baby Reindeer Stalker’ as He Slams Her Claims as ‘Complete Fantasy’

Piers Morgan has revealed that he has been relentlessly pursued by a stalker whom he describes as his very own Baby Reindeer-style harasser. 

The outspoken TV presenter and journalist has forcefully denied her allegations, 

calling them a “complete fantasy” and expressing frustration over the legal battles he has been forced to endure.

The 59-year-old broadcaster claims he has been bombarded with baseless accusations by Felicity Jane Lowde, 

a woman previously convicted of stalking a survivor of the London bombings in 2007. 

According to Morgan, Lowde launched a lawsuit against him and his production company, Insider Productions Ltd, alleging abuse, harassment, fraud, and even identity theft.

Piers Morgan Targeted by Serial Accuser

Morgan has made it clear that he had never met or interacted with Lowde prior to her legal claims. However, she still pursued a case against him, filing a judgment in Central London County Court last September. He has now spoken out about the ordeal, determined to put an end to what he sees as an exploitation of the legal system.

“What she was trying to accuse me of was absurd, complete fantasy,” Morgan told The Sun, expressing his exasperation over the situation.

Morgan believes that Lowde was simply looking for a financial payout, as she has reportedly filed similar lawsuits against other high-profile individuals. In the past year alone, she is said to have launched 64 cases against various celebrities, making Morgan just one of many public figures caught in her legal web.

Connection to Baby Reindeer

The TV host believes that Lowde began fixating on him after he conducted an interview with Fiona Harvey, the woman widely speculated to be the real-life inspiration for the stalker character in the hit Netflix series Baby Reindeer. The show, which tells the story of comedian Richard Gadd’s experience with a persistent and obsessive stalker, has sparked widespread discussions about stalking and the impact it has on victims.

Morgan has compared his own experience to that of Gadd, stating that Lowde’s harassment has taken a significant toll on his personal and professional life.

Bizarre and Baseless Allegations

Among Lowde’s many bizarre accusations, she has claimed that Morgan stole her family history and creative work in an attempt to present himself as a member of her family. She also suggested that he was trying to rebrand himself as an aristocrat to make up for his controversial past, particularly his criticisms of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

One of the most outlandish allegations made by Lowde was that Morgan has a sexual obsession with toilets—an accusation so bizarre that even Morgan himself seemed baffled by it.

Legal Victory for Morgan

Despite the distress caused by the ordeal, Morgan and his company ultimately won the case against Lowde. Last month, the lawsuit against Insider Productions Ltd was dismissed, and the claim against Morgan personally was thrown out after he defended himself publicly.

The court ordered Lowde to pay Morgan £6,000 in damages, but he has little expectation of ever seeing that money. “I didn’t want to have to defend it, but you have to when you’re contacted by the court,” he explained. “Otherwise, it goes through the court process, and you can end up with a judgment against you.”

A Call for Legal Reform

Morgan is now speaking out in hopes of preventing others from facing similar situations. He argues that Lowde has been exploiting a loophole in the legal system, allowing her to repeatedly file claims at little to no cost through a fee remission scheme. This program allows individuals with financial difficulties to bypass court fees, making it easy for them to launch lawsuits—even frivolous ones—against high-profile figures.

Morgan has called for stricter measures to prevent the abuse of this system, stating, “She is a harasser, a bit like Baby Reindeer’s. This could happen to anyone—whether they’re in the public eye or not—at a huge personal cost.”

Other Celebrities Affected

Morgan is not alone in his fight against Lowde. Other well-known public figures, including Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, have reportedly also taken legal action against her. Morgan believes that the courts must take stronger action to prevent Lowde from continuing her pattern of harassment.

He also pointed out a potential double standard in how her actions have been handled. “It does make me wonder if it would be taken more seriously if she were a man targeting a woman,” he said. “She’s clearly a disturbed, unhinged human being, yet she’s still able to keep doing this.”

Morgan Remains Defiant

Despite the challenges he has faced, Morgan remains defiant. While he acknowledges the unsettling nature of being stalked, he refuses to let it dictate his life. “I’ve got security, but you can’t live like a hermit and let that stuff get in your head,” he said.

His ultimate hope is that by speaking out, legal authorities will take action to prevent individuals like Lowde from misusing the court system and targeting celebrities with baseless claims.
