Bear Hunt star tears into Ekin Su and Curtis branding them ‘losers’

Love Island All Stars couple Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard have found themselves embroiled in a fresh controversy

after being publicly criticized by model and Bear Hunt star Leomie Anderson.

The couple, who finished third in the latest Love Island series, were branded “losers” by Anderson following their appearance at London Fashion Week.

From Reality TV to the Runway

After spending weeks in the South African Love Island villa, Ekin-Su and Curtis returned to the UK and wasted no time re-entering the spotlight.

The duo, who became an official couple on the show, made a grand appearance at London Fashion Week, attending designer Helen Anthony’s event in matching Burberry outfits.

However, the event took an unexpected turn when Ekin-Su decided to step onto the runway herself. Showcasing her signature confidence, she strutted down the catwalk in an impromptu moment that quickly made waves online. Sharing her bold move with fans, she posted on Instagram: “When life gives you a runway, strut it with confidence and grace.” She also shared a photo with Curtis, captioning it: “LFW with my lover.”

Leomie Anderson’s Harsh Criticism

While many of Ekin-Su’s fans celebrated her runway moment, not everyone was impressed. Bear Hunt star and renowned model Leomie Anderson took to social media to voice her frustration, seemingly targeting the Love Island couple in a now-viral post.

She wrote: “Literally just attended one of the worst shows ever – and tell me why two particular LOSERS from a particular reality show dared each other to get up and walk the show. Desperate for press or?”

Although Anderson did not explicitly name Ekin-Su and Curtis, fans quickly speculated that her message was aimed at them. Some defended the reality stars, while others agreed with Anderson, accusing them of attempting to steal the spotlight.

Despite the backlash, neither Ekin-Su nor Curtis has publicly responded to the criticism. However, their unexpected runway moment has fueled even more conversations about their relationship and public image.

Ekin-Su and Curtis Face Public Scrutiny

Since returning from Love Island All Stars, Ekin-Su and Curtis have been in the public eye, navigating both support and skepticism regarding their relationship. The couple has already made multiple media appearances, including an interview on Lorraine, where they discussed their journey on the show.

Their romance has been met with speculation, with some fans questioning whether their relationship is genuine or a strategic move for publicity. Addressing the skepticism, Ekin-Su stated: “It’s okay if some people call it fake, a ‘showmance,’ real, whatever. That’s okay.”

She continued: “What’s important is what we feel, and that’s real. I guess we’re both from theatrical backgrounds, so it’s normal. You put me and him together, and it becomes a theatre performance. So I understand why people may think that. It’s fine, it’s an opinion.”

However, her comments about their relationship being “theatrical” sparked further debate, with some fans interpreting it as an admission that their romance is more for show than for real-life commitment. One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote: “So you mean when you are together, you are acting? Mind blown. #Lorraine”

Another speculated about the longevity of their relationship, tweeting: “ITV appearance contracts usually last a year. Cue a breakup just in time for the new season to avoid stealing too much attention.”

A Couple Under the Spotlight

Despite the criticism, Ekin-Su and Curtis continue to embrace their time in the limelight. Their recent public appearances and high-profile gigs suggest that they are keen to establish themselves as a power couple beyond Love Island.

With more opportunities ahead—including a confirmed return to London Fashion Week later this year—the pair will likely remain a hot topic of discussion. However, whether they can prove their critics wrong and build a lasting relationship remains to be seen.

For now, as the backlash over their Fashion Week stunt unfolds, Ekin-Su and Curtis are once again at the center of reality TV drama—only this time, it’s happening in the real world.
