Justin Bieber raps about being ‘high’ in puzzling video after rep vehemently denies drug use

Justin Bieber is once again making waves on social media, this time for a shirtless video in which he rapped about being “high.”

The clip comes shortly after his spokesperson refuted claims that the singer was using drugs, calling the rumors “harmful” and “pitiful.”

Bieber’s Social Media Clip Sparks Reactions

On Tuesday, the 30-year-old pop star took to Instagram to share a spontaneous freestyle moment with his followers.

In the clip, Bieber, casually munching on snacks, rapped, “I fly like a fly guy, I fly high like a bagpipe, I go high like a bad guy.”

Beside him, a friend smoked a cigarette while the Grammy winner appeared completely at ease.

While the meaning behind his lyrics was unclear, fans were quick to react to the unexpected post. Some took it as a sign that Bieber was back in a creative mindset, eagerly awaiting new music.

“I’m so desperate for new music, I’ll take anything at this point—this is gold right now! GO BIEBS,” one fan commented.

Another added, “Bieber is back 🔥,” while a third playfully called the clip “weird but cute.”

Despite the lighthearted tone from many of his followers, the timing of the video raised eyebrows, as it followed days of speculation about his well-being.

Spokesperson Slams ‘Harmful’ Allegations

Bieber’s post came just two days after his representative firmly shut down speculation that the singer was struggling with drug use. Speaking to TMZ on Sunday, the rep dismissed the rumors as “exhausting and pitiful,” emphasizing that some people seemed determined to push “negative, salacious, harmful narratives” about Bieber despite there being no truth to them.

Recent speculation about Bieber’s health and state of mind was fueled by images of him appearing exhausted while out and about in New York City. However, his team was quick to clarify the reason behind his seemingly tired appearance.

Bieber’s New Life as a Father

According to his representative, Bieber’s exhaustion has nothing to do with substance use. Instead, it stems from his new role as a father. In August 2024, Bieber and his wife, Hailey Bieber, welcomed their first child, Jack Blues.

“This past year has been transformative for Justin,” his rep explained, adding that fatherhood has been his primary focus. The singer has reportedly been dedicating his nights to caring for his infant son, often sacrificing sleep in the process.

Additionally, Bieber has been balancing his parental duties with his passion for music. His spokesperson revealed that after putting Jack to bed, the Canadian-born singer has been spending long hours in the recording studio, working on new material.

Public Scrutiny and Bieber’s Response

Bieber has faced public scrutiny for years, with his every move dissected by both fans and critics. Whether it’s his fashion choices, personal life, or demeanor in public, the singer is no stranger to speculation and rumors.

His latest video, while seemingly playful, is a reminder of the ongoing fascination with his lifestyle. Some fans took his “high” lyrics as a joke, while others questioned whether he was addressing the recent controversy in his own way.

Regardless of the interpretations, Bieber has yet to personally comment on the situation. His social media activity remains sporadic, but the Instagram post suggests he is enjoying himself and staying creatively engaged.

What’s Next for Justin Bieber?

While Bieber has not officially announced a new music project, his frequent late-night studio sessions hint that something could be on the horizon. Fans remain hopeful that he will release new music soon, especially given his spontaneous rapping in the latest video.

As for his personal life, Bieber appears to be embracing fatherhood and prioritizing family time with Hailey and their son. His representative’s strong defense against the drug rumors suggests that Bieber is focused on positive growth rather than the negativity surrounding him.

For now, it seems Bieber is letting his actions—and, in some cases, his freestyle raps—do the talking.
