The 2024 Grammy Awards are going down this Sunday, February 4, and there are already a ton of performances to look forward to from A-listers.
Including SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, Travis Scott, Dua Lipa, Burna Boy, Luke Combs, Joni Mitchell, and U2.
Now, this is obviously an iconic lineup, but there are definitely some major names missing.
And now Grammys executive producer Raj Kapoor is out here teasing surprise performances to Rolling Stone…including potentially from Beyoncé and Taylor Swift.
Apparently, there have been “conversations” about Bey joining the In Memoriam segment for a Tina Turner tribute.
“We’ve definitely had conversations, and we know how much Tina and Beyoncé loved each other,” he said during his convo with the outlet.
“The Tina Turner tribute will be amazing. We are really excited. It may be a little unexpected, but it’s going to be absolutely amazing.”
When it comes to Taylor, Raj gave slightly less info—but *did* imply there was a possibility she’d perform at the last minute. “We’ve had a lot of last-minute things come in on the show. Sometimes they’ve happened days before, and yeah, we’re always open to the idea,” he dished.
Just FYI, Entertainment Tonight previously shut down rumors that Taylor would be performing after noting the singer has “a quick turnaround before resuming her record-breaking Eras Tour on the other side of the world.” Us Weekly also spoke with a source who straight up said, “She will not perform despite rumors to the contrary.”
Sooo, guess we’ll see what happens?
