Angelina Jolie ‘struggles to trust men’ after Brad Pitt ‘trauma’… but hasn’t ‘sworn off dating’

Angelina Jolie is in no rush to dive back into the dating scene following the official end of her lengthy and contentious divorce from Brad Pitt.

While the legal battle between the former Hollywood power couple concluded in December after eight years,

Jolie remains focused on herself and her children rather than seeking a new romance.

According to a source close to the actress, Jolie is hesitant to trust men again after what she endured in her relationship with Pitt.

While she has not completely ruled out the possibility of finding love again, she is not actively pursuing a serious relationship at this time.

Instead, she is content with her life and finds fulfillment in raising her children and focusing on her personal endeavors.

The former couple, who were once among the most celebrated pairings in Hollywood, share six children: biological children Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16, as well as adopted children Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, and Zahara, 19. Jolie has prioritized their well-being throughout the tumultuous divorce process and continues to do so even after the legal proceedings have ended.

While Jolie is reportedly relieved to have reached a settlement in her divorce, the emotional toll of the past several years has been significant. Another insider previously described the drawn-out legal battle as a “nightmare” for her and her family, emphasizing the distress the ordeal caused. Despite this, she has remained steadfast in ensuring her children have a stable and supportive environment.

On the other hand, Pitt’s camp has pushed back against Jolie’s claims, accusing her of engaging in “one-sided attacks” throughout the years of litigation. His representatives maintain that her allegations have caused considerable collateral damage to those involved, including their children.

Though their divorce has been settled, one major issue remains unresolved: the dispute over Château Miraval, the French estate and vineyard the former couple once co-owned. The $62 million legal battle over the property has continued, with Pitt alleging that Jolie sold her stake in the winery without his consent. The dispute remains contentious, and sources suggest that both parties are prepared to take the matter to trial if necessary.

Despite the drama surrounding her past relationship, Jolie is determined to move forward with her life on her own terms. The actress, filmmaker, and humanitarian has remained active in her career and philanthropic efforts, using her platform to advocate for important causes.

Meanwhile, Pitt has seemingly moved on romantically and is reportedly happy in his relationship with jewelry designer Ines de Ramon. However, sources close to the couple indicate that while they are enjoying their time together, marriage is not currently on the horizon for them.

Jolie’s primary focus remains on her children and personal growth. Over the years, several of her children have reportedly distanced themselves from Pitt, with some even dropping his last name. While it is believed that Knox and Vivienne still maintain some level of contact with their father, Maddox and Pax are said to be estranged from him.

As she continues this new chapter of her life, Jolie is embracing her independence and prioritizing the things that bring her peace. While love may be a possibility in the future, she is in no rush to seek it out. For now, she is finding happiness in her family and the life she has built outside of her past relationship with Pitt.
