Pete Wicks has made a scathing remark about his former girlfriend Maura Higgins in the aftermath of their abrupt breakup last month. 

The 36-year-old former The Only Way Is Essex star and the 34-year-old former Love Island contestant had been involved in a whirlwind romance that started last summer.

It’s very difficult to have small talk with people when that’s their reference because I don’t know anything about it.” Sam, playing along, added, “Let’s be honest, I can’t imagine you hanging out with people who say, ‘When’s the nearest episode of Love Island?’” Pete firmly responded, “No, but even when I walk through the office … just no.”
