Jenna Bush Hager, a devoted mother of three and a busy television personality, has revealed she still holds hopes of expanding her family.

During a recent episode of her show, the popular Today host playfully teased the idea of having another child.
Bush Hager, who has been winning praise since stepping into a more prominent role following Hoda Kotb’s departure from Today,
isn’t alone in her reflections on family expansion. Her co-host Savannah Guthrie admitted she, too, wished she had tried for a third child.

During a segment on Today with Jenna and Friends, Guthrie, 53, shared that she had a dream in which Bush Hager was expecting another baby.

This revelation led to a playful exchange, with Guthrie jokingly asking if there was any news to share.

In response, Bush Hager, 43, drummed up excitement before confirming that she had no major announcements.
“I have nothing to announce,” she clarified. “I’m pretty sure I’ve come to terms with the fact that three, even though it’s an imperfect number, is the perfect number for our house.”
Guthrie, who shares two children, daughter Vale and son Charley, with her husband Michael Feldman, sympathized with her friend’s thoughts on family planning. “It’s very normal. I think they call it ‘being broody,’” she said. “You’re kind of broody for a third or a fourth. I would have had a third in a heartbeat, but, you know, I was up against the clock.”
Bush Hager, who has three children—Mila, Poppy, and Hal—with her husband Henry Chase Hager, has been keeping viewers entertained with an array of guest co-hosts. Over the past few weeks, she has shared the screen with major celebrities such as Taraji P. Henson, Scarlett Johansson, and Eva Longoria. However, one guest has particularly stood out to fans.

Viewers have taken to social media to express their love for Helen McMahan’s appearances alongside Bush Hager. Many are now calling for McMahan to become a permanent fixture on The Fourth Hour. One fan tweeted, “Our fave duo, we need her back every week.” Another added, “Keep her please!” A third chimed in, “Helen needs to be the permanent co-host! She is perfect and hilarious!!”
Bush Hager has been a mainstay on The Fourth Hour of Today since 2019, when she replaced Kathie Lee Gifford. In recent months, she has taken on a larger role following Kotb’s unexpected exit. Kotb’s departure from Today shocked fans earlier this year, though she remains involved with NBC in a contributing capacity.
As Bush Hager continues to impress audiences with her warmth and charisma, fans are eager to see what’s next for the popular host—and whether she might one day add to her growing family after all.
