Kim Kardashian recently shared a heartwarming story about a time when she faced financial hardship,

revealing that it was her younger sister Khloé Kardashian who stepped up to support her during her first divorce.
The reality star, now 44, looked back on a difficult period in her early twenties when she was struggling to move forward after ending her marriage to record producer Damon Thomas.
A Sister’s Generosity in a Time of Need

During a confessional on the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim opened up about her financial struggles following her split from Thomas,

whom she married at just 19 years old. At the age of 21, she found herself without the means to secure a new home.

That’s when her then-17-year-old sister, Khloé, came to her rescue.
Kim recalled a special memory involving a Coca-Cola-shaped piggy bank that Khloé had since childhood. “When Khloé was maybe four or five years old, she got this piggy bank in the shape of a Coke bottle. We would put so much money in it,” Kim shared.
She went on to explain that when she was in dire need of financial help, Khloé offered her the money she had been saving for years. “We were up all night counting it, and it was $6,000. It was enough for me to get a down payment on my apartment,” Kim said. She described the moment as incredibly touching, recognizing the sacrifice her younger sister made at such a young age.
Khloé’s Selfless Act
Khloé also reflected on the moment, sharing her perspective during her own confessional. She recalled how Kim was in distress over her situation, and without hesitation, she wanted to help.
“She was crying in my room, and I was just like, ‘I have this, so let’s take what’s in here and go to the bank to cash it. Let’s use this money for your divorce,’” Khloé explained. “I gave her all that I got and hopefully helped her.”
This generous act highlighted the deep bond between the Kardashian sisters, proving that their support for one another has always been strong—even before they became household names.
Kim’s Frustration With Her Sisters Over Party Planning
While Kim has expressed gratitude for Khloé’s help in the past, the latest episode of The Kardashians also revealed her frustration with her siblings when it came to planning a special event for Khloé’s milestone 40th birthday.

Kim, who took charge of organizing the celebration, admitted that she was upset with her sisters for not contributing to the planning process. She revealed that while she had been working hard to make the party happen, the rest of the family was off on vacation and ignoring her messages.
“They’re all dead to me,” Kim joked in a confessional, expressing her irritation at being left to handle everything alone. She even went so far as to say she planned to send her sisters the bill for the party, since she was the only one putting in the effort.
The ‘Khloewood’ Birthday Bash
Despite the challenges leading up to the event, the celebration turned out to be a grand success. Kim ultimately decided on a Dollywood-inspired theme, renaming it ‘Khloewood’ in honor of Khloé’s love for country music legend Dolly Parton.

Although Dolly Parton herself wasn’t in attendance, she sent Khloé a heartfelt video message to wish her a happy birthday. The party also featured a surprise performance by Snoop Dogg, adding a star-studded touch to the festivities.
Kim’s frustrations with her sisters may have been real, but in the end, the love and dedication she put into celebrating Khloé’s special day shined through. And while the birthday party showcased some typical Kardashian drama, Kim’s reflection on Khloé’s selfless act from years ago proved that their sisterly bond remains unbreakable.
