Jenna Bush Hager is adding a new chapter to her already impressive career by stepping into the world of publishing. 

The Today Show host announced on Wednesday that she has launched her own imprint, Thousand Voices Books, in collaboration with Random House Publishing Group. 

The new venture is dedicated to discovering and promoting emerging authors across a diverse range of genres.

In a statement, Bush Hager expressed her excitement about the project, explaining how it aligns with her long-standing passion for books and storytelling. 

“This new venture is a natural extension of my love for literature and my existing collaborations with writers and publishers, 

yet it still feels entirely fresh and exciting,” she said.

A Vision for Diverse Storytelling

Thousand Voices Books aims to amplify unique voices and perspectives, offering a platform for both debut and seasoned authors. The imprint will publish works spanning several genres, including romance, suspense, literary fiction, historical fiction, memoirs, and the growing trend of “romantasy”—a blend of romance and fantasy.

The first book under the imprint, Conform by Ariel Sullivan, is set to hit shelves in October 2025. This dystopian romance is just the beginning of an exciting lineup, with other upcoming titles including Laws of Love and Logic by Debra Curtis, Liar’s Dice by Juliet Faithfull, June Baby by Shannon Garvey, Abby Offsides by Anna McCallie, and Into the Blue by Emma Brodie.

Bush Hager shared her enthusiasm for the imprint during Wednesday’s episode of Today, where she discussed the project with her co-host, Hoda Kotb. “I’ve been talking to you [Hoda] about this for maybe six months, but I am really, really excited because I am launching a book imprint that is called Thousand Voices Books,” she said. “Since we’ve started, I’ve just been obsessed.”

A Commitment to Storytelling and Representation

For Bush Hager, the goal of Thousand Voices Books is to create space for diverse narratives. “The hope is that we’re pulling up a chair for a thousand different perspectives,” she explained. “Literature has the power to transport readers into different worlds and introduce them to new ways of thinking.”

The imprint’s approach is global, actively seeking talent from various backgrounds and cultures. Bush Hager emphasized that the books she’s selecting are ones she truly connects with. “We’re reading across genres and across the globe. The books are so fun to read,” she said. “I wanted to fall into every single one of these. I’m obsessed.”

Building on an Established Love for Books

This latest endeavor is a natural evolution of Bush Hager’s work in the literary space. Nearly six years ago, she launched the Read With Jenna book club, where she selects a new title each month for her followers to enjoy. Through this initiative, she has cultivated strong relationships with authors, publishers, agents, and independent bookstore owners.

“I’ve worked with authors and agents, with readers, with indie bookstore owners,” she noted. “I’ve made all these relationships as we’ve tried to build the book club that I think would be amazing to utilize to help with these writers that I’m publishing.”

Launching a New Chapter Amid Major Today Show Changes

Bush Hager’s exciting announcement comes just as Today prepares for a significant transition. Hoda Kotb, her longtime co-anchor, is set to depart from the show after more than 18 years with NBC and over six years as a co-anchor. Kotb, who announced her decision in September 2024, shared that she is stepping away to spend more time with her two daughters, Haley and Hope.

Following Kotb’s departure, Craig Melvin will take on the role of co-anchor alongside Savannah Guthrie. While this marks a big change for the show, Bush Hager’s new imprint proves she’s ready to take on fresh opportunities while continuing her role on Today.
