Susanna Reid has sparked speculation after appearing on Good Morning Britain with a new ring on her left hand.

The television presenter, 52, co-hosted the ITV breakfast show on Monday alongside Richard Madeley, dressed in a chic long-sleeved burgundy dress. 

However, it wasn’t her outfit that caught viewers’ attention—it was a chunky gold ring on her fourth finger.

Eagle-eyed fans quickly took to social media to question whether the ring signified a new relationship. Some even speculated if Reid had secretly tied the knot. 

One viewer tweeted, “Is Susanna Reid wearing a wedding ring? When did she get married?” 

Another echoed the sentiment, asking, “Is @susannareid100 wearing a sparkler on her wedding finger?”

Reid, who has never been married, was previously in a long-term relationship with sports journalist Dominic Cotton. 

The former couple were together for 16 years and share three sons: Sam, 20, Finn, 19, and Jack, 18. However, they announced their split in 2014. Despite their separation, Reid has always spoken fondly of Cotton and has maintained that marriage was never a priority for her. During a 2021 discussion on Good Morning Britain, she explained, “It was a personal choice. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned idea that children are ‘illegitimate’ if you’re not married. Children are legitimate, whether you’re married or not.”

Following her breakup with Cotton, Reid entered a relationship with Steve Parish, the chairman of Crystal Palace Football Club. Their romance became public in November 2018 when they were spotted together at a Crystal Palace vs. Chelsea football match. At the time, sources close to the couple revealed that they had known each other for years through their mutual connection to the football club.

However, their relationship was short-lived. In April 2019, just nine months after going public, they called it quits. Despite the split, Reid and Parish remained on good terms, continuing to attend matches together. Reid even addressed the breakup on Good Morning Britain when Piers Morgan asked her directly if she was single again. With a smile, she responded, “Yep. Let’s not dwell. I’m fine, we’re fine, we’re very good friends. We were at the match on Saturday.”

Morgan, who often teased Reid about her romantic life, jokingly lamented that he would no longer have access to Parish’s extensive wine collection. Reid humorously played along, presenting him with three bottles of Crystal Palace wine to commemorate the occasion.

Despite their split, rumors of a rekindled romance between Reid and Parish have surfaced multiple times over the years. In August 2020, the pair were seen embracing on a night out in Soho. Witnesses claimed they looked “completely smitten,” with one source revealing, “Steve had his arms protectively around Susanna and even planted a kiss on her head before they got into a taxi.”

Reid, however, has remained steadfast in her stance on marriage. While dating Parish, she openly stated, “I’ve never wanted [marriage]. I’ve never fantasized about the big day. It was never my ambition to be married. I’m very, very happy at the moment, but I don’t want to be married. No, no, no, I think the focus should be on the relationship.”

With no official confirmation from Reid regarding her new ring, speculation continues to swirl. Could it be a gift, a fashion statement, or a symbol of something more significant?
