Fox News star Greg Gutfeld faces backlash as colleagues reportedly can’t stand his ‘ego and attitude’ behind the scenes

Greg Gutfeld, the host of Gutfeld! on Fox News, has undoubtedly become a powerhouse in late-night television,

pulling in millions of viewers each night with his sharp commentary and irreverent humor.

However, behind the scenes at the network, reports suggest that Gutfeld’s growing success may be creating more problems than it solves.

According to insiders, his increasing confidence and self-importance have led to a strained relationship with some of his colleagues, leaving him somewhat isolated at Fox News.

Ratings Surge, Ego Inflation

Gutfeld’s show has become a ratings juggernaut, attracting over 4 million viewers nightly and consistently outperforming other late-night programming.

His success has cemented his place as one of the most prominent figures at the network.

However, sources within Fox News claim that this rising star status has led to Gutfeld becoming somewhat of an outcast behind the scenes. Many of his colleagues reportedly feel that Gutfeld’s newfound popularity has inflated his ego to the point where he has become difficult to work with.

Insiders allege that Gutfeld’s overconfidence and attitude have made him a divisive figure among the Fox News staff. While he may be a beloved on-air personality, behind the scenes, he is said to be distant and self-important. Several sources suggest that Gutfeld’s behavior is often a topic of ridicule, with many staff members mocking him privately. The host’s unconventional style may be appealing to viewers, but some within the network believe he lacks the professional polish exhibited by other high-profile Fox anchors, such as Sean Hannity or Bret Baier.

Avoided by Colleagues

Despite his success on air, Gutfeld’s social standing at Fox News is reportedly not as strong as one might expect. According to sources, Gutfeld is often excluded from after-work gatherings, and his colleagues show little interest in engaging with him outside of work. This has led to a growing divide between the host and the rest of the newsroom, with insiders noting that Gutfeld’s presence is largely unwelcome in social settings. His colleagues are said to view him with a mixture of frustration and indifference, a stark contrast to the camaraderie shared among other members of the Fox team.

This lack of social integration at the network has further contributed to the tensions surrounding Gutfeld. Staffers allegedly joke about his persona and stature within the organization, which has only intensified the sense of isolation he feels. As his success continues to rise, the more the gap between Gutfeld and his colleagues seems to widen.

Salary Demands and Growing Tensions

As Gutfeld’s star continues to rise, it seems that his attitude has extended beyond just his relationships with colleagues—he’s reportedly making waves with Fox News executives as well. Sources have revealed that Gutfeld has been pushing for a significant salary increase in light of his show’s success. However, the network has not met his demands, leading to friction between the host and the executives who manage his career.

Some insiders suggest that Gutfeld’s aggressive approach to salary negotiations, combined with his belief that he is essential to the network’s success, has put his future at Fox News in jeopardy. Reportedly, Gutfeld has boasted about how his ratings are keeping the network afloat, a sentiment that has not gone unnoticed by higher-ups. This sense of self-importance, combined with his on-air success, has left some questioning whether Gutfeld’s attitude could eventually lead to a fallout between him and the network’s leadership.

A Precarious Position

While Fox News executives value Gutfeld’s contributions and his impressive ratings, some network insiders warn that his behavior could eventually backfire. The television industry, they point out, is highly competitive, and no one is truly irreplaceable. As Gutfeld’s star continues to shine, his strained relationships with colleagues and his demanding approach to salary negotiations could leave him in a precarious position. If the tensions surrounding him continue to escalate, he may find that his place at Fox News isn’t as secure as he believes.

In the fast-paced world of television, where egos can be as large as the success they generate, it remains to be seen whether Gutfeld’s rising popularity will ultimately be enough to preserve his position at Fox News. As his success continues to grow, it’s clear that the balance between professional achievement and interpersonal relationships will play a crucial role in determining the future of Gutfeld! and its host.
