Beckham appeared elegantly next to his former teammates at MU: “They are still very close”

Former midfielder David Beckham and a series of former teammates at MU attended the premiere of a documentary about their journey to winning the treble in 1999 on the evening of May 9.

Becks dressed smartly for the film’s premiere at the Printworks theater in Manchester.

The movie titled ’99’ consists of three parts, revealing the stories behind each Cup that Becks and his teammates at MU won in the 1998-1999 season.

Becks’ media company and Prime Video cooperated to produce a film to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Red Devils winning the treble of Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.

The film will be widely shown from May 17.

Becks is also one of the prominent faces in the Manchester team’s explosive season.

In addition to career success, 1999 was a fulfilling year for Becks when he married Posh Spice of the Spice Girls and welcomed his first son, Brooklyn.

Some MU stars who shined 25 years ago also attended the premiere. In the photo, former striker Teddy Sheringham, 58 years old, with his wife, 20 years younger, Kristina Andriotis. Sheringham scored the 1-1 equalizer for MU before teammate Solskjaer sealed a dramatic 2-1 victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League final 25 years ago.

Former midfielder Nicky Butt went to the movies with his two children. Butt is in legal trouble, facing jail time for carelessly driving and breaking the leg of a motorcyclist at the end of 2022.

Former defender Gary Neville and his wife went to the movies. He is a close friend of Becks, part of the group of talented 1992 generation players of the Red Devils.

Former defender and defensive midfielder Ronny Johnsen took his daughter Lykke to the movies.

Former killer striker Andy Cole (left) and Dwight Yorke reunited on the red carpet.

Steve McClaren – a one-time assistant to legendary coach Alex Ferguson – is also currently on the coaching staff of MU coach Erik ten Hag.

Legendary goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel went to the movies alone.
