Cardi B skipped the 2020 Grammy Awards red carpet but snuck into the ceremony with her husband Offset after the show had already begun.

Cardi wore a stunning, sheer Mugler gown to the show.

Cardi B may have skipped the Grammy Awards red carpet, but she still ensured that her ensemble for the night’s ceremony was not to be missed.

The Thierry Mugler number was a sheer, nude gown with floor-length long sleeves, a body-skimming silouhette, and crystal detailing covering the whole design in glimmering stripes. 

The dress’ nearly transparent fabrication showed off Cardi’s enviable curves as well as her slew of tattoos, while her hot pink eyeshadow supplied a pop of color to the monochrome look. 

For jewels, she opted for diamond chandelier earrings, a collar style necklace, and bangle bracelets.

“@muglerofficial on me @chromeheartsofficial on Daddy,” Cardi captioned a photo of her and her husband as he kissed her hand while posing for the camera. It wasn’t the first time Cardi donned the French designer for a major red carpet moment; she infamously wore a show-stopping, vintage Mugler oyster dress to last year’s Grammy Awards.

Cardi was not up for any Grammy nominations this year but took home the award for Best Rap Album at last year’s ceremony.

Cameras caught glimpses of Cardi and her husband Offset in the crowd during the televised ceremony, but Cardi gave her fans a full look of her dreamy Mugler look in a series of Instagram posts.
