When he was born, Sang was malnourished, weighed about 2.1 kg, and had severe scabies and eczema all over his body. The center was worried that the boy had an infectious disease, so they sent him for a careful examination and blood tests, but luckily he only had a skin infection. Every day, Sang is disinfected by the girls in the center and taken for regular checkups.

After that, Sang was healthier, brighter, and cuter than before. However, the boy is quite quiet and quiet. The nannies said that Sang is very smart and likes to explore and study everything around him alone.

For a while, the center introduced the baby to many people but no one adopted the baby, partly because there were other babies who were healthier and more active. Sang’s fateful day came in 2006, when Angelina Jolie visited the center. In January 2007, Angelina applied to adopt a child in Vietnam, with the request for a 3-5 year old boy without infectious diseases. In the morning when Angelina came to pick up her child, little Sang screamed and ran to the corner of the room to cry when he saw her and two tall bodyguards standing at the door.
