The eight-year-old girl, who is already a Grammy-nominated artist and a budding entrepreneur, turned down a diamond-encrusted watch that Jay-Z had bought for her as a surprise gift.

The watch, which was worth $2 million, was a custom-made piece by the luxury brand Audemars Piguet, and featured a skeleton dial, a pink leather strap, and a bezel adorned with 280 diamonds.

Blue Ivy, however, was not impressed by the extravagant gesture, and politely declined to accept the watch.
