Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle’s supporters were whipped into a frenzy Wednesday after a rare picture emerged of her son,
Archie, showing him sitting in her lap as her mother, Doria Ragland, stands near Markle.
The image appears to be a screenshot from a video call the family had with Jotaka Eaddy, the founder and CEO of Full Circle Strategies, a social-impact consulting firm, and political strategist Donna Brazile.
The picture offers a glimpse of the youngest royal, whose full name is Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor and who’s appeared in public sparingly since his birth in May 2019, according to the Sun.
The image of Archie was initially shared on Twitter by Duchess Harris — a Minnesota professor who specializes in American studies and feminism — but has since been scrubbed from the social media site.
Archie and his mother made the appearance on the same day that Prince William and Kate Middleton made a visit to the US,
where the Prince and Princess of Wales touched down in Boston and are expected to spend three days in Massachusetts to attend the second Earthshot Prize awards ceremony.
Harry and Meghan are also slated to be on the East Coast next week, where the demoted royals will receive a Ripple of Hope award from the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights center, which is holding a gala in New York. The honor is for taking on “structural racism” within the royal family.
According to insiders, William and Kate will “not be distracted” by the couple.
The trip comes as a docuseries on Harry and Meghan is set to premiere on Netflix on Dec. 8, which promises to detail their “love story.”
