When Angelina Jolie famously adopted Maddox in 2002, little did we know it would be just the beginning of one of the most diverse and multicultural families in showbiz history.

Best of all, we’ve had the pleasure of seeing the kids grow up right in front of our eyes (and yes, we also feel old now).
While Brad and Angelina’s marriage may be a thing of the past, their six children are very much still a cohesive unit, and have spent the pandemic together at home in Los Angeles.
“They’re all together and it’s a nice big bunch, so everybody’s helping each other out,” Jolie told Extra. “We’re lucky.”

And it seems some of the kids have really grown up during lockdown (we’re still trying to figure out how Shiloh got so tall so fast).

So just in case you missed it, here’s what the Jolie-Pitts have been up to.

It seems Shiloh has undergone quite the makeover while in lockdown, if these new photos are anything to go by.

Sporting denim cut-offs, pierced ears and long locks tied up in a bun, it’s a far cry from the tomboy outfits we’ve come to expect.
In recent years Shiloh has generated much online buzz with her androgynous, fearless style. She was always encouraged by her parents to dress the way she wanted. As a child, she would don casual separates – polo shirts, jackets, blazers, shorts, dark trousers, jeans and oversized tracksuits.

Shiloh has also shot up in the height department over the past few months, and has even been spotted at a Pasadena-based dance studio in recent weeks. We have a sneaky feeling we’re not going to recognise Brad and Ange’s most well-known child at the next post-pandemic red carpet event.
As the first adopted daughter of Jolie’s multicultural family, Zahara Marley has – for the most part – managed to stay out of the limelight since she was adopted in 2005.

After the Jolie-Pitt Foundation created the Zahara Programme in 2009 to treat drug-resistant tuberculosis in Ethiopia, Zahara has attempted to follow in her mum’s philanthropic footsteps.
According to People magazine, the family stayed in Ethiopia for a New Year’s holiday last year, where Zahara met with Sahle-Work Zewde, the nation’s first female president. What does a teenager discuss with a president? Apparently, Zahara and the group talked about the importance of girls’ education, sanitary pad solutions for girls in schools and drug-resistant tuberculosis, which remains a serious health crisis in the region.

There is also a Zahara Centre based in the outskirts of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, which follows a similar model to the Maddox Centre, named after Jolie’s eldest, but with more focus on tuberculosis. The building was even designed in part by Brad Pitt.
In what is unquestionably one of the most famous adoptions in Hollywood history, Maddox became Jolie’s first child in 2002. When the Tomb Raider actress adopted Maddox from an orphanage in Battambang, Cambodia, his name wasn’t Maddox. Born Rath Vibol, Maddox was some seven months old at the time of his highly publicised adoption.

In August 2019, Jolie flew with Maddox to South Korea to see him off to his tertiary education; he is currently studying biochemistry at Seoul’s picturesque Yonsei University.
Even though Maddox moved to South Korea last year to pursue his studies, he returned home to his famous family because his university temporarily closed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

In 2007, Jolie added yet another to her brood, adopting Pax from Vietnam. His biological mother abandoned him at the Tam Binh Orphanage, and he spent three years there before the famous couple met him and fell in love.
The high school student is considered the most private of the Jolie-Pitt clan, and is rarely seen out in public with his famous family.

He is currently learning Vietnamese, which he used to speak before he was adopted.
