Tiger Woods’ answer when asked “Why is he so good” made the golf world stir (video)

Known as a legend of golf, items associated with King Tiger Woods are always sought after by fans. Many people are willing to pay incredible prices just to own their idol’s items.

A Woods item is being auctioned, but it is described as unlike any before and promises to fetch an equally “unrealistic” final price.

That is “Sunday red” – the iconic red polo shirt of the golf legend, currently being auctioned by Golden Age Auction.

What makes it even more special is that this is one of the “Sunday red” shirts that Woods wore it when participating in the 2010 Masters.

Tiger Woods did not win the 2010 Masters at Augusta, but this tournament was extremely important in his career.

This is the first tournament marking Woods’ return after his sex scandal appeared on the front pages of newspapers in November 2009.

This scandal shocked public opinion, forcing Woods to take a break from competition for many months.

Golden Age Auctions calls the “Sunday red” signed by the king of golf “one of the most unique golf items ever put up for auction.” Furthermore, Golden Age Auctions confirms that this is the only Sunday red Tiger Masters. that you can’t find anywhere other than Woods’ wardrobe.

“Sunday red” is a symbol associated with Tiger Woods. This name comes from the fact that he always wears a red polo shirt and black pants when competing on Sunday. Sharing about this hobby, he said because “ My mother said that’s the color of your power.”

Despite only setting a modest starting price of $5,000, the auction house expects a record price for this polo shirt. The auction officially opened this past Tuesday and in just one day, the price skyrocketed to $40,701 (as of early Wednesday morning). And it is expected to continue to rise higher in the coming days.

In 2021, a set of Titleist 681 T Forged irons and Vokey wedges presented by Golden Age Auctions that were used in the 2000-2001 Tiger Slam (although Woods’ people deny it) were successfully auctioned for unbelievable price of 5,156 million USD.

The auction for Tiger Woods’ “Sunday red” officially ended on December 10.
