Instead of walking up the aisle, Jennifer was seen placing her endless pins over the rows of chairs while holding what appeared to be a glass of wine.

Thankfully the actress managed not to lose any of her beverage as she flashed a cheeky smile at her fellow attendees.

“Jennifer Lawrence with her wine glass during the oscars is my 2018 mood,” someone else quipped.

Earlier in the evening, the beauty had turned heads for all the right reasons as she posed for the world’s media.

Wearing her blonde tresses down in soft waves, Jennifer’s incredible figure was impossible to miss in a metallic dress.

The number, which featured jaw-dropping sequins throughout, clung to her curves and featured spaghetti straps and a flared skirt.

Jennifer polished off her attire with long, dangly earrings and dramatic eye make-up, before she reunited with Meryl Streep.

The pair looked overjoyed to see each other and gave each other a hug, with the 68-year-old wowing in a low-cut red dress.

Meanwhile, Dame Helen Mirren was caught swearing at the camera as she arrived in a blue clingy ensemble.

The 72-year-old wowed in the long-sleeved number, which she accessorised with a dazzling necklace.
