I’m questioning if my lack of knowledge about my style stems from my ongoing self-discovery journey at the age of 48. It seems like I’m currently experiencing a personal transition. Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit down, as if I haven’t truly been myself for the past ten years, but I’d rather not delve into that topic.
There has been a lot of healing that needed to take place, and we are still trying to find our way. I believe that being a part of Atelier Jolie has provided me with a therapeutic outlet, allowing me to work in a creative space alongside trusted individuals and rediscover myself. I have high hopes for making significant changes in various areas of my life, and this is one of them, moving forward.
Despite dedicating less time to acting, Jolie is still involved in a few upcoming projects. One of these projects includes reprising her role as Tigress in Kung Fu Panda 4, a character she originally portrayed in the 2008 film. According to her IMDb profile, she is expected to return as Maleficent for a third film in the Disney franchise, although this has yet to be officially confirmed.
In addition, Jolie is set to appear in Every Note Played, a drama centered around a piano teacher suffering from ALS, and his estranged wife who assumes the responsibility of caring for him. She is also attached to a film called Maria, where she would portray the iconic opera singer Maria Callas during her final days in Paris during the 1970s. With the exception of Kung Fu Panda 4, there is no concrete release date or information regarding the production status of these projects.
Jolie’s decreased presence in acting doesn’t diminish her ability to excel in action films. She recently showcased this in Taylor Sheridan’s mid-budget thriller, Those Who Wish Me Dead, where she portrays a survival expert entangled in a criminal conspiracy. Jolie’s involvement in the genre continues, as news broke that she is set to star alongside Halle Berry in the action thriller Maude v Maude.
