Jennifer Lawrence is as much a household name as any other Jennifer these days (think Aniston, Lopez, Garner), but her unique personality is one of the things fans seem to love most.
While the rest of Hollywood tends to circulate with their mouths shut, J Law has been refreshingly honest in the media.
She’s talked about her rise to fame, how she interacts with fans (and why), and what she thinks of the projects she’s taken on.
Though she’s kept the drama from her long-ago split from Nicholas Hoult mostly under the radar, it’s one more thing fans like about her:
the ability to act like an adult rather than slinging accusations in the spotlight.
That doesn’t mean Jennifer isn’t open about other parts of her life, though.
In fact, she’s shared plenty about her three homes; enough that Velvet Ropes is able to recap each one’s square footage, amenities, value, and more. As of April 2020, Jennifer owned at least three homes: one in Beverly Hills, California, one in Manhattan, NY, and one in her hometown of Louisville Kentucky.
Still, despite her charms, plenty of fans are divided about Jennifer Lawrence, and the dish she gave on her home in the heart of Beverly Hills may have contributed to that. Jennifer had some choice words when discussing the $8M property, which was renovated in 2014 just before J Law moved in.
Since the luxe home, which totals 5,500 square feet and boasts a lap pool, koi pond, gourmet kitchen, and a ginormous walk-in closet with a hair and makeup station, is in such a sought-after neighborhood, it makes sense that J Law isn’t the first owner.
As Velvet Ropes quoted, Jennifer Lawrence said the abode is “like the neighborhood whore,” because other celebs have previously owned it. The former owners include both Ellen DeGeneres and Jessica Simpson, plus other celebs who are lesser-known but deep-pocketed, such as Paul Hogan and Rick Yorn, notes Lonny.
That doesn’t mean she loves the home any less, of course. When the actress is in Los Angeles, it’s clear that her pad is her home base. With its gorgeous staircase, effortless elegance throughout the main floor, and the high-end upstairs accommodations, who needs a hotel?
Perhaps the most impressive thing about the home is its backyard and outdoor spaces. Yeah, there’s a koi pond and lap pool, but the entire backside of the house is smothered in ivy, has tons of trees, and has fans looking a the pics and imagining a celeb oasis.
Since J Law’s neighbors include high-profile celebrities like Cameron Diaz, Nicole Richie, Zoe Saldana, Adele, and Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, no doubt the star will be enjoying plenty of star-studded get-togethers at her luxe property.
Just rubbing elbows with all these Hollywood greats has Jennifer feeling like she’s ‘made it.’
