Mads Mikkelsen felt complacent about working with Rihanna
Clash of the Titans actor Mads Mikkelsen worked with singing superstar Rihanna in the short film B*tch Better Have My Money.
In the video, Mikkelsen played the character of the accountant who cheated on her, hence, she plots revenge by abducting his wife.
The actor revealed in an interview with GQ about his first-ever shoot in America,
“I was there for two days. I think that’s the only time I ever shot in America. All the American films I’ve done have been shot in Europe. so, thanks to Rihanna, I finally got to shoot in America.”
Talking about how he bagged the role in the film, Mads Mikkelsen shared,
“Yeah, I don’t know how it landed. I never asked her, She must have seen something I’ve done, I believe something Danish. She called my agent and it’s like, ‘Do you want to be in a Rihanna film?’ and I was like, ‘Yeah’. I respect Rihanna, but I’m not big on music so obviously, I was kind of complacent. And then I heard some of her music, ‘Oh yeah she’s cool’. My son, for the first time, I think was impressed with what I do. He wanted to come with me on set and he is a young teenager, I don’t think so.”
Mads Mikkelsen became quite popular with his role in the video.

In the music video, the singer-actress is seen torturing Mads Mikkelsen to get her money back. She also refers to him are her B*tch, however, the actor does seem to mind being called that. In the interview, Mikkelsen appreciated the singer for her sweet nature,
“She was so sweet, and then she’s so good.”
