Reba McEntire recently had the chance to enjoy some fun family time with her son, Shelby Blackstock, and his wife, Marissa. Not to mention her grand puppies, Watson and Belle!

Shelby shared a batch of photos on Instagram from their “trial run” of their TaterTot golf Classic. 

The TaterTot name comes from Reba’s “Tater Tot” nickname, which is what her boyfriend Rex Linn calls her. She lovingly calls him “Sugar Tot” in return.

Based on Shelby’s post, their day of golf was a successful one! He said:

“Our team brought their A-game, and we came out with the W! Looking forward to the main event.“

Shelby joked that Watson served as his caddie while they were golfing. 

Though it sounds like he didn’t do the best job. “Going to need to work on my caddie; he’s not able to carry the bag yet or give accurate yardage numbers,” Shelby said.

Shelby is a race car driver, and his mama is incredibly proud of him. Though his racing career understandably makes her nervous.

As she once told Rachael Ray on her talk show, she nearly passed out when Shelby raced at Daytona for the first time. Head below to watch the video of that interview.
