Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez set things aside to show up for a milestone in the family.

Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 54, were spotted together in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 30, heading to festivities surrounding his daughter Violet’s high school graduation. 

Affleck shares Violet, 18, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, along with Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.

Affleck wore a suit and carried a basket with pink wrapping paper as Lopez, wearing sunglasses, walked by his side. 

His mother Chris Anne Boldt walked behind the pair on the street.

Thursday’s appearance together marks the first time Affleck and Lopez have been seen together since May 19.

When the couple were photographed together outside the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, California.

They have been living separately in Los Angeles while experiencing a strain in the marriage, sources have told PEOPLE. She’s been busy preparing for her concert tour and promoting her Netflix movie Atlas, while Affleck has been filming for The Accountant 2.

A source recently told PEOPLE the couple are “still living separately” even after Lopez returned to L.A. to rehearse for her tour, which begins in Orlando on June 26. That source added that Lopez is keeping “very focused on work.”

Garner, 52, shared on Instagram May 20 photos of herself crying while attending Violet’s Class of 2024 pre-graduation sendoff ceremony.

“Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate. 🎓 (bless our hearts 🥺♥️🤣),” Garner wrote in the caption.

Lopez and Affleck famously rekindled their relationship from the early 2000s in 2021 and married in 2022. The Hustlers actress is mom to 16-year-old twins Max and Emme, with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
