Two Iowa Hawkeyes legends are squaring off for the first time in the WNBA on Saturday.
We’re talking about Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin. Clark’s Indiana Fever traveled to Las Vegas to take on Martin and her Aces.
Clark and Martin were the best of friends during their time at Iowa together.
And there were numerous reports about how Martin was beloved by not only Clark, but also the rest of her teammates, due to her team-first attitude.
Judging by a recent video from the WNBA’s X account before the Saturday showdown, Martin’s new teammates love her too.

And Martin obliged.
Fans were loving what they saw from Martin.
“They love their rookie,” wrote one fan in response.
“Turn up den Kate,” said another.
Martin currently has eight minutes played during the ongoing game between the Aces and the Fever.
