Through a conversation with Kylie Jenner about beauty, Jennifer Lawrence cleverly responded to the plastic surgery suspicions she has faced in the past few months. 

The Hunger Games actress denied having “under the knife” to improve her beauty and said that makeup brings about amazing changes to her face. 

The Oscar-winning star explained: “It’s unbelievable what makeup can do. 

I work with Hung Vanngo and I call him a plastic surgeon because in the past few months since I’ve worked with him, everyone believes I’ve had eye surgery.” 

The beauty affirmed: “I didn’t have eye surgery, I’m just wearing makeup.”

Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner praised the 9X actress’s transformation and asked: “You look great.

 So does he always do your makeup?” She seemed to confirm that when she humorously replied: “Well, it looks like I’ve had complete ‘plastic surgery’.”

Hung Vanngo – the person Jennifer Lawrence refers to as her “plastic surgeon” – is a famous Vietnamese-American makeup artist in Hollywood. In addition to the great support of makeup, Jennifer Lawrence said that her appearance has changed significantly due to age. “I started appearing a lot when I was 19, so I have pictures of me when I first started out and when I’m in my 30s now, and they’re always comparing me. I just think I’ve gotten older, I’ve lost weight, my face has gotten thinner, it’s not as baby-faced as it used to be, my face has changed because I’m getting older. But because of that change, people think I’ve had a nose job,” the X-Men star explained. The 33-year-old added: “All I can say is I have the same nose as before. It’s just that my cheeks are smaller.”

This isn’t the first time Jennifer Lawrence has denied having plastic surgery. In 2019, the Winter’s Bone actress told Paper magazine that she had never had surgery because she was scared. “People think I’ve gone under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely untrue. I’m scared! I would never do that.” They can’t understand how professional makeup, hairstyling or fillers can do that,” she explained.
