Reba played Judge Kim Wheeler in this Lifetime movie. She was joined by Melissa Peterman and Rex Linn, which made for a great cast. 

She was one of the few traveling judges left in America. Her nickname was The Hammer. 

Her sister runs the local brothel and that makes for an interesting twist. She has to clear her name and that made for a great story that needs to be told.

This movie does reair on Lifetime randomly and is also streaming if you missed the chance to watch it the first time around.

So far, there is no word out about a sequel of The Hammer, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen. 

Lifetime has done a few sequels now and then. Reba and Melissa Peterman work great together so they would love the opportunity to do another movie together. 

Reba is very busy right now, though. She is working on The Voice as a new judge in the upcoming season.

Melissa and Reba have also reunited on Young Sheldon as well. They starred opposite each other on the sitcom Reba and fans loved them together. This movie was a great way to see them together once again.

Reba said that there are a ton of stories to tell and that it could have easily have been a limited series or there could have been a sequel. She would love to do more of these stories about Judge Kim. Now, fans are just going to have to wait and see if it ends up happening. It sounds like if it is up to Reba McEntire then The Hammer will get a sequel. She wants to do more with this character.
