John Legend penned a sweet birthday wish for his eldest daughter Luna Legend, who just turned 8.

Taking to his Instagram handle on Monday, the All of Me singer posted a series of pictures of his now-grown-up daughter with a heartfelt caption.

“Luna made us parents 8 years ago today and she’s truly the best daughter we could ask for, We love you to the moon and back, my brilliant girl!” wrote John Legend.

Luna’s mother, Chrissy Teigen, in true Chrissy fashion roasted John with her comments.

“Just read this to Esti, our fourteen-month old daughter,” Chrissy Teigen comments under her husband’s post.

The carousel has garnered reactions from fans and followers alike.

One Instagram user wrote, “She a mini version of her mum.”

Another user then penned a happy birthday wish for the little one, “The sweetest! Happy bday Luna!!!”

“There’s nothing she can’t do,” commented the third

While the fourth called little Luna, “An angel.”

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend in addition to Luna and Esti are also parents to two adorable boys, Miles, 5, and nine-month-old Wren, who they welcomed via surrogacy.
