Michael Rubin is a successful American businessman, born on July 21, 1972.
Born to a Jewish family, he grew up in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania where he started a ski-tuning shop in his parents’ basements
– which would eventually earn him hundreds of thousands of dollars.
As an avid sports fan since childhood, Rubin used $2500 bar mitzvah gifts to fund his shop,
and with the help of his father opened an official ski shop in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania named Mike’s Ski and Sport.
At the age of 16, he was around $120,000 in debt and was able to pay off his credit cards using a $37,000 loan from his father,
paid to him with the agreement he would attend college.
Rubin agreed but dropped out after his first semester as his business grew massively to five ski shops.
