Timberlands have been a wardrobe staple for Rihanna since the early ’00s. The hard-wearing waterproof boots, which were originally designed in 1973 for construction workers in the US, may seem an unlikely style mainstay for a global superstar, but Rihanna is actually one of many celebrity fans.

In the music and fashion industries, Timberlands have become a status symbol, worn by hip-hop stars throughout the 1990s and the style set in the Noughties. The brand has even collaborated with the likes of Stüssy, A-Cold-Wall and Supreme, and recently launched the Hip Hop Royalty Boot to celebrate its longstanding connection with legendary artists.
But no one wears them quite like Riri. While her style has evolved dramatically since 2012 – a year she wore Timberlands nonstop, including while performing at the Brit Awards – she still enjoys pairing the worker boots with jeans.

Earlier this month, for an outing with A$AP Rocky (another Timberland fan), the singer leant into the shoes’ casual appeal and wore the brand’s signature 6-inch boots, baggy Agolde denims, a striped Loewe polo top – which she tucked under her bra to геυеɑl her baby bump – and a Louis Vuitton box clutch.
Rihanna’s trick for transforming Timberlands from functional footwear into a fashion statement? Undoing the laces. Looking back at her past outfits, she rarely – if ever – ties them, preferring to leave the upper unfastened.
The brand’s trademark yellow Nubucks are by far her favourite style owing to their versatility, but Riri has been spotted in black, brown and pink pairs, as well as decorative custom versions, since her obsession first started. Take note: at £180, Rihanna’s Timberlands are one of the more accessible items in her wardrobe, and as her decade-long endorsement proves, they’re worth the investment.
Pregnant Rihanna to ‘delay’ new music to marry A$AP Rocky in Barbados beach wedding
Singer Rihanna has made hints that she would put off releasing her ninth album until after she marries A$AP Rocky, with whom she has been in a relationship since 2020, and has a second kid.
Fans of Rihanna who are eagerly awaiting the release of her new album may be let down given that the singer has hinted she wants to hold off until she gets married.
Rihanna, 35, is reportedly keen to be married and is now expecting her second kid with rapper A$AP Rocky.
Despite fans’ excitement for new music, plans for a wedding before she gives birth to her second kid are apparently delaying the release of her ninth album.

According to reports, the singer is preparing for a beach wedding in Barbados, which could cause her first album since 2016 to be postponed even further.
According to a source who spoke to Radaronline.com, Rihanna’s current priorities include throwing a wedding and having another child. Her willingness to perform for the Super Bowl undoubtedly rekindled her passion of acting, but it still doesn’t measure up to what she has at home. “Thankfully, A$AP is also on board. A$AP and Rihanna are eager to be married.
According to the insider, the Umbrella hitmaker isn’t seeking for a large, extravagant wedding and is instead planning something low-key, such “eloping in ꜱеϲгеt” or “doing something low-key in LA now, followed by a big celebratory extravaganza next year.”

She wants it to be in Barbados, a really fancy affair, but she also wants to be allowed to run around barefoot, the person continued. Attendees may anticipate enjoying wonderful island cuisine while listening to live music.
Having been together since 2020, the pair already has a son, and they are expecting their second child later this year. While the couple hasn’t publicly discussed their marriage intentions in the past, after Rihanna’s involvement in Rocky’s D.M.B video in May, they gave fans a taste of what a wedding would entail.
Rihanna appeared in a wedding scene while carrying a bunch of red flowers and wearing a red gown and veil.

But, further delays to her ninth album would irritate both Rihanna and her followers. She stated, “I want it to be this year, like, honestly, it’d be absurd if it’s not this year,” in an interview with British Vogue before to her current pregnancy. But all I want is to enjoy myself. I only want to produce music and videos.
For a response, The Mirror has gotten in touch with Rihanna’s agent.
