David Beckham fans have urged the BBC to offer the football icon his own gardening show as he showed off his skills.
The former Manchester United star, 49, has revealed his newfound love of gardening and provided an update to his followers over the weekend.
He planted his own Queen of Sweden rose shrub in his lavish garden as wife Victoria, 50, offered words of encouragement.
David’s fans shared their tips under the post, which prompted him to provide another update.
The dad-of-four shared a clip of himself planting a second rose shrub and thanked his fans for their advice.
Many were left calling for David to get his own programme after he successfully planted the shrub. One said: “David Beckham is the garden influencer we never knew we needed.”
Another joked: “Up next on BBC four, ‘Gardening with Becks’.”

It’s not the first time the famous couple have shared a look into their home life in the English countryside. On Christmas Day, Victoria shared the present she got David and also issued a cheeky message. The Spice Girl filmed her husband with his brand new chicken coop as he fed his chickens with a Santa hat on his head.
She asked: “What did you get for Christmas David?” He replied: “Some chickens,” as Victoria repeated: “He got some chickens.” David could be heard saying: “And a cockerel,” as Victoria continued: “Some Beckham chickens,” and zoomed in on the birds. She continued: “Chickens, actually there’s a massive c**k in there as well. What to get David Beckham for Christmas. They are a bit camera shy these chickens and the c**k.” Fans were left in hysterics at Victoria’s comment, as one said: “Victoria has such amazing sense of humour love it.” Another added: “This is going to be a trending sound bite Victoria.”

“I normally get into my country get-up which I’m not in now. I’ve got a stick, I walk around, sit out here with a cup of coffee.” Adding a cheeky joke while smirking with joy, David continued: “My favourite view of the house. I can also see Victoria if she’s naked in the top window.”
