Jennifer Lawrence is a beauty chameleon. She can bounce effortlessly from dark, long tresses to short golden crops.
It’s a quality that no doubt helps her acting chops and ability to go from a strong,
young character like Katniss Everdeen in Hunger Games to portraying entrepreneur Joy Mangano in Joy, which earned her an Oscar nomination for best actress.
She’s had bangs, loose waves and even a pixie cut since her first appearance on the Oscars red carpet in 2010.
But her hair and makeup at last night’s events may have been her best yet — or our favorite at least.
Her platinum layered bob (lob, in shorthand) gently framed her face, warming her light complexion.
And somehow it stayed voluminous, especially in the back. No small feat, we know. She debuted the new style by Hollywood go-to Riawna Capri in November, though it looks like she got a good touch-up from stylist Jenny Cho ahead of the evening.
Her kohl-rimmed eyes and dark brows accentuated the icy look, and paired well with the her black lacy Dior gown. Though the Alexander Wang two-piece she wore to the Vanity Fair after party was really the star of the night.
