After giving the Inter Miami CF player a bottle of wine and wishing him a happy birthday, 

the football great made the decision to show his admirers and supporters a little bit of his friendship.

On social media, Beckham posted a message referring to Messi as his friend and using the Argentinian flag.

Along with the photo was a message that said, “Happy birthday to the greatest,”

“Feliz cumpleaños mi amigo.”

In their most recent snapshot, Messi and Beckham appeared to be having a birthday meal. 

Messi was dressed in a red t-shirt and white jeans, while Beckham was dressed in black and white. Both of them were beaming.

After moving to Miami, Messi and his spouse Antonela Roccuzzo were greeted with wide arms by the Beckhams, who also invited them to special events and made new friends.

Beckham vowed to bring a soccer great to the field in Miami years before they became pals.
