Being able to fly under the radar when you’re a huge celebrity is a BFD, and Jennifer Lawrence is really, really good at it.
J.Law headed out to dinner with husband Cooke Maroney’s parents at Café Cluny in Manhattan’s West Village, looking totally unrecognizable—but amazing. Because, J.Law.
The 31-year-old mom and actress was spotted makeup-free, looking totally glowy and summertime fresh
while walking down the street in a gorgeous blue checked-patterned dress and orange heels. Her long hair flowed freely down her back and her skin was next-level flawless.
Jennifer welcomed a baby earlier this year with Cookie, but almost no details have been made public yet.
Jennifer’s friend Amy Schumer told Vanity Fair that she hasn’t met the baby yet and doesn’t know his or her name. “She’s smart enough not to tell me,” Amy joked.
That privacy element is a big thing for Jennifer, who told Vanity Fair that “every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can.” So, don’t expect any details about her baby anytime soon!
As for going makeup free, Jennifer previously shared that’s her off-duty jam. “If I don’t have an event, I normally don’t wear makeup,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “Since I often get it done professionally, I’m probably better off staying away from my face. I have learned nothing from the pros.”
Still, she’s big on taking care of her skin. You better believe she’s putting on the SPF before she heads out the door. “During the day, I use sunblock,” J.Law told Harper’s Bazaar. “It doesn’t matter what, but I always make sure it has zinc in it.”
And, every night, she always makes a point to exfoliate. “It really doesn’t matter what I use,” she said. “You can kind of use anything grainy, so I change it up.”
J.Law shared that she has “really dry skin” so she tends to use night cream and a “very thick” mask to hydrate it. She’s also a little rebellious with her nighttime skincare routine. “I do use retinol under my night cream every night,” she shared. “It says not to use it every night, but I always say, ‘Fuck it.’”
She also summed up her morning routine in this oh-so-relatable snippet: “Coffee. Then I brush my teeth. Sunblock. Then put on concealer. Take my dog [Pippi] to the park. Shower. And then I just putter around, really.”
