“Becoming Jane” is the latest film in which “princess” Anne Hathaway participates.
According to experts, the role of the famous female writer Jane Austen will bring Anne to stardom and create a new turning point in her career.
Anne Hathaway is considered one of the promising young stars of Hollywood,
she is the same age as Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff because they were both “discovered” through teen movies.
Anne Hathaway began to gain attention from the role of the “common” princess in two parts of the film The Princess Diaries.
Anne also appeared in the film about the homosexual theme Brokeback Mountain but only with a small supporting role.
Anne’s motto is to absolutely avoid rumors. Therefore, almost no private photos or love affairs of Anne are ever published in the press. She conquers her audience with her sincerity and holiness.
Becoming Jane is a fictional story about the life of the famous female writer Jane Austen. In the film, Anne plays Jane – a young woman who is passionately in love with a man named Tom LeFroy. Their love is opposed by Jane’s parents because they want their daughter to marry a man of high social status, not a dissolute man like Tom.
It was her beautiful first love with Tom that inspired the female writer to write the emotional work Pride and Prejudice.
To be able to perfect this role, Anne Hathaway studied the works of Jane Austen. “I have read Austen’s works since I was 14 years old. Although the stories take place more than 200 years ago, the romantic, innocent love story is still intact. It was those novels that inspired me to play the role better.”
In addition, the 24-year-old actress also had to get used to the ancient language and make friends with the cumbersome costumes of the 18th century.
At the recent press conference for the film Becoming Jane, Anne confided: “The role of Jane is really a pressure for me. It is a difficult and profound role, so I always feel stressed. At times, I even thought about withdrawing from the project, but if I did, it would be embarrassing. So I decided to stay and fight.”
The film Becoming Jane, with a duration of 120 minutes, will be released to audiences in North America this weekend.
