Emma Watson shocked when she first shared having an Oxford student deliberately impersonate a fan to “embarrass” her, even though it was a female student

If girls spoke to Emma Watson because she was famous at school, they found themselves at the risk of detention.

The Harry Potter star ‘s fellow pupils at Headington School Oxford were warned not approach Emma, especially not to get her autograph, according to new claims.

Long before the days of the selfie, students were reportedly given a stern warning about ‘penalty points’ if they did approach Emma for a cheeky signature, reports The Tab.

The student newspaper claims that the Head of Lower School would speak to pupils at the independent school in Oxford about the penalty point.

If students got three, they the found themselves in detention.

“Of course if you were friends with her you could speak to her, but no one was allowed to go up and ask for an autograph or anything,”

former Headington School pupil Lucy told the newspaper.

Another former pupil called Lydia recalled the fear students felt over getting a penalty point.

“Nobody ever dared to ask her for an autograph,” she explained.

“I remember being told about it quite formally, and was really scared of getting a penalty point. At the time it would have been so embarrassing.”

Brainy Emma juggled schoolwork with filming Harry Potter, she had a private tutor when she was on set to give her lessons between her breaks in filming.

The star was also given Mondays off so that she could go to school, and would be sent homework by her school teachers each Friday.

Once Emma had then completed her assignments, these would then be couriered back for marking.

However, a spokesperson for the school told Mirror Celeb: “There were no special disciplinary measures implemented during Emma’s time at Headington School.”
