Justin Baldoni claims Blake Lively tried to ban him from ‘It Ends With Us’ premiere in ‘humiliating’ diss

Actor and filmmaker Justin Baldoni has opened up about an alleged incident involving his co-star Blake Lively that reportedly left him feeling “humiliated.”

According to Baldoni, Lively made an attempt to have him banned from the premiere of their upcoming film, *It Ends With Us*, an adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel.

The situation, which Baldoni described as a “diss,” has garnered significant attention from fans and media alike, sparking conversations about the dynamics between the two stars.

Baldoni, known for his role in *Jane the Virgin* and his efforts as a director and advocate for positive masculinity, shared his perspective during a recent interview.

While he did not delve into the specific reasons behind Lively’s alleged actions, he described the ordeal as deeply embarrassing and a blow to his professional standing.

“It’s one of those moments where you question everything—your work, your relationships,

and even your place in the project,” Baldoni stated. “I never thought I’d face something like this from a colleague.”

The tension between Baldoni and Lively reportedly began during the production of *It Ends With Us*. While the exact nature of their disagreement remains unclear, insiders suggest that creative differences and personality clashes may have played a role. Both actors have significant influence in Hollywood, with Baldoni also serving as a producer on the film and Lively contributing her star power as a lead actress. However, their dynamic off-screen appears to have been far from harmonious.

Fans of Colleen Hoover’s novel have expressed concern over how these interpersonal issues might affect the final product. The book, a deeply emotional tale about love, trauma, and resilience, has a passionate following, and the film adaptation has been highly anticipated. Many are now wondering if the reported conflict between Baldoni and Lively could overshadow the story and its important themes.

For his part, Baldoni has emphasized his commitment to the project and his respect for the novel’s source material. “I took on this role and this film because I believe in the message it carries,” he explained. “This story is bigger than any one of us, and I hope that, despite the challenges, we can do it justice for the fans and for Colleen [Hoover].” His remarks suggest a determination to rise above the personal and professional obstacles to ensure the success of the adaptation.

Meanwhile, representatives for Lively have yet to comment on Baldoni’s claims. Known for her grace and professionalism, the actress has been a prominent figure in Hollywood, celebrated for her roles in films like *The Age of Adaline* and *A Simple Favor*. However, the recent allegations have sparked a wave of speculation, with some questioning whether there is more to the story than meets the eye.

The alleged incident raises broader questions about the challenges of collaboration in the entertainment industry. When two high-profile figures come together on a creative project, conflicts are almost inevitable. The pressure to deliver a blockbuster film, coupled with the intense public scrutiny that accompanies such endeavors, can exacerbate even minor disagreements. For Baldoni and Lively, navigating these dynamics appears to have been particularly fraught.

As news of the alleged ban spreads, fans have taken to social media to express their opinions. While some are siding with Baldoni, empathizing with his account of humiliation, others are reserving judgment, noting the lack of a statement from Lively. The discourse underscores the complexities of celebrity culture, where personal conflicts often become public fodder, and narratives are shaped by limited information.

Despite the controversy, Baldoni remains optimistic about the future of *It Ends With Us*. “This is a story that needs to be told, and I’m proud of the work we’ve done,” he said. “At the end of the day, it’s about the fans, the message, and the impact we can make.”

As the film’s premiere approaches, all eyes will be on Baldoni and Lively to see how they navigate this challenging moment. Whether they can move past their reported differences remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: the drama surrounding *It Ends With Us* has only heightened anticipation for its release. Fans and critics alike will be watching closely, not just for the film itself, but for any signs of resolution—or further conflict—between its stars.
