has broken his silence following the tragic death of The Vivienne, one of the franchise’s most celebrated stars.

During the opening of DragCon London, RuPaul delivered an emotional tribute to the late entertainer, honoring her legacy as a performer who radiated love and light.

The heartfelt moment brought fans and attendees together as they remembered The Vivienne and her immense impact on the drag community.

The Vivienne, known for her sharp wit, impeccable artistry, and warm personality, rose to fame as the winner of the first season of *RuPaul’s Drag Race UK*.

Her victory cemented her status as a trailblazer in the British drag scene, inspiring countless performers with her talent and authenticity.

Describing The Vivienne as someone who was “all about love,” RuPaul reflected on the entertainer’s unparalleled ability to bring people together.

“The Vivienne embodied everything we stand for,” RuPaul said during the DragCon opening ceremony. “She was an artist, a pioneer, and above all, a force of love in this world. Her spirit will forever be a part of our family.”

The timing of DragCon London, a celebration of drag culture, provided a poignant backdrop for RuPaul’s tribute. Attendees gathered to honor The Vivienne’s memory, with many fans donning costumes inspired by her signature looks. Memorials featuring photos, flowers, and handwritten messages filled the convention floor, offering a space for fans to share their grief and appreciation for the beloved performer.

In a touching gesture, organizers dedicated a portion of the event to The Vivienne, highlighting her most iconic performances and interviews. A special tribute wall allowed fans to leave messages, creating a collective expression of love and remembrance.

The news of The Vivienne’s passing sent shockwaves through the drag community, with fans and fellow queens taking to social media to express their heartbreak. Many highlighted her kindness and generosity, recounting personal interactions where she made them feel seen and valued.

“She wasn’t just a performer; she was a beacon of positivity,” one fan shared. “The Vivienne showed us what it means to live authentically and to spread love wherever you go.”

Others spoke of her influence on the art of drag, praising her ability to combine humor, glamor, and storytelling into unforgettable performances. Fellow queens, including past contestants from *Drag Race*, also paid their respects, sharing memories of The Vivienne as a friend, mentor, and inspiration.

RuPaul’s tribute at DragCon London was a particularly poignant moment for fans who have looked to him as a leader in the drag community. Speaking directly to the crowd, RuPaul urged everyone to honor The Vivienne’s legacy by continuing to spread love and joy.

“Drag has always been about resilience, about turning pain into power and beauty,” he said. “The Vivienne knew this better than anyone. Let’s honor her by embracing each other, celebrating our differences, and creating a world filled with more love.”

RuPaul’s words resonated deeply with the audience, many of whom were visibly moved. The moment served as both a reflection on The Vivienne’s life and a call to action for the drag community to carry forward her message of positivity and acceptance.
