BBC Strictly’s Chris McCausland ‘speaking to lawyers’ after Dianne Buswell shares video

*Strictly Come Dancing* star Chris McCausland has jokingly threatened to speak to lawyers after his former dance partner,

Dianne Buswell, shared a lighthearted and amusing video featuring her father, Mark, and her husband, Joe Sugg.

The clip, which quickly garnered attention on social media, is a playful game that Dianne filmed with her dad,

reminiscent of the fun-filled moments she once shared with Chris during their time as a dancing duo on the hit BBC show.

Dianne, known for her vibrant personality and engaging content, has always been active on social media, offering her fans a behind-the-scenes look at her life.

In her latest video, Dianne takes part in a game with her father and husband. The trio plays a guessing game where they have to identify the flavor of a KitKat by its scent.

irky challenge has become a staple of Dianne’s social media posts, and it was clear that the fun nature of the game was meant to entertain her followers.

Dianne shared the video with the caption: “The Christmas special of guess the flavour! Don’t worry, production manager @ChrisMcCauslandcomedy has given the all-clear to go ahead with the episode without him! Our special guest is the one and only MARK @mark.3802.” The lighthearted post included a cameo from her husband, Joe Sugg, who added his own brand of humor to the playful challenge.

While the video was intended as a fun update for her fans, Chris McCausland, who had previously partnered with Dianne on *Strictly*, couldn’t resist sharing his cheeky reaction. In response to the video, Chris humorously wrote, “Wow. I’m speaking to my lawyers. You must’ve really wanted him back on that flight to keep it going that long.” His comment, clearly in jest, sparked laughter from fans who are familiar with the banter-filled dynamic that Dianne and Chris shared during their time on the dance floor.

Chris’s playful remark highlights the close friendship that has developed between the two following their time together on *Strictly*. The pair’s partnership on the show was one of the most memorable of the season, with their camaraderie and humor striking a chord with audiences. Although they didn’t take home the Glitterball trophy, they became fan favorites for their chemistry, humor, and the joy they brought to the dance floor.

In her own posts, Dianne has often shared heartwarming moments from their partnership, showing how much she values the friendship they formed during their time on the show. Dianne’s latest video, which features her dad and Joe, is just another example of her ability to bring joy and laughter to her fans, while also keeping them engaged with her personal life.

The video also comes just after an emotional farewell Dianne shared with her parents, Rina and Mark, who had traveled from Australia to support her on the show. In a heartfelt message posted last week, Dianne expressed her gratitude for the support she received from her parents during her time on *Strictly*, particularly noting how special it was to have them by her side throughout the competition. She said, “What a 7 weeks it has been honestly, moments that I had only dreamed of came to life and the best bit was that my parents were right there with me. Already looking forward to the next time we can make memories together. Love you both very much.”

For fans of *Strictly*, the bond between Dianne and her former dance partner Chris is something that has endured long after the show ended. Their playful exchanges, such as Chris’s lawyer joke, continue to delight their shared fanbase, proving that their relationship goes beyond the dance floor. With both Dianne and Chris continuing to entertain audiences in their own ways, it’s clear that their friendship remains strong.

While Chris may be “speaking to lawyers” in jest, it’s evident that the lighthearted spirit between him, Dianne, and her family continues to thrive. The video not only showcased a fun moment between Dianne and her loved ones but also reminded fans of the wonderful, supportive relationships she has built throughout her career—both on and off the *Strictly* stage.
