Imagine bumping into Beyoncé on your morning commute. While it’s hard to picture the superstar boarding public transit anywhere in the United States without being mobbed.
She seems to be enjoying a level of privacy on her trip to Japan with husband Jay-Z—so much so that the couple apparently even rode the bus there.
Going unnoticed on public transportation as Beyoncé would be hard enough, but presumably even harder when you’re also dressed like a Southern beauty queen.
As she continues to promote the release of new album Cowboy Carter, the singer geared up in a monochromatic icy-blue fit by LaPointe.
Complete with subtle homages to western Americana.
The base of this outfit consisted of a pale blue mesh bodysuit with a mock turtleneck.
Tucked into light blue denim hot shorts cinched at the waist with a black belt with a large silver buckle.
She then slipped into statement-making boots, which featured an over-the-knee silhouette, slouchy denim, pointed toes, and stiletto heels.
Bey finished off the look with a massive denim trench coat embellished with gray-blue fur along the sleeves, and further accessorized with a black bolo tie with a turquoise pendant, a silver box clutch bag, and shiny silver pendant earrings from 8 Other Reasons.
Beyoncé’s trip to Japan has produced a series of rare fashionable street-style looks from the icon. On another occasion, she wore a head-to-toe look fresh off of the Chloé runway, including black floral lace catsuit, leather over-the-knee boots, and a draping khaki shawl with tartan lining. For a different outing, she opted for a black-and-white theme via a floral patterned Prada blouse, black leather shorts, and a boxy black leather trench coat.
