Beyoncé’s rarely seen twins Rumi and Sir just made a surprise appearance in their pop queen mother’s Renaissance tour movie trailer.
Giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come (i.e. much anticipated snippets of the singer’s family life) ahead of the production’s December 1 release.
The six-year-olds are seen enjoying sweet and intimate moments with the “Halo” singer in the clips.
Rumi and Sir Carter are well-known for being shielded away from the public eye, so when they do make public appearances, it’s a big deal.

One month after Rumi and Sir were born in June 2017, Beyoncé took to Instagram to share a now-iconic pic of her with the twins wearing a floor-length, purple wrap gown.
A year later, the “If I Were a Boy” songstress shared another rare glimpse into mum life. Queen B posted a pic of her twins, both in white tees, as they sat comfortably in her lap.
As seen in footage from the On the Run II tour, the twins showed up looking adorable as ever in all-white, like their parents, at what Essence describes as Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 2018 vow renewal, 10 years after they got married in 2008.
On her 38th birthday in 2019, Beyoncé celebrated by sharing some more photos of the twins, per Harper’s Bazaar – this time, snapped at their sister Blue Ivy’s seventh birthday party earlier that year, in January. The event had a rose gold theme, and Rumi and Sir were dressed in dapper ‘fits with polka dots.
In 2019, Beyoncé recreated an iconic pic of actress Lisa Bonet holding a baby Zoë Kravitz from the 1980s, per Harper’s Bazaar. She held her twins, who looked equally stylish, for the pic.
In December 2021, the “Single Ladies” superstar dressed up in matching attire for a photo shoot with her two daughters, Rumi and Blue Ivy, to promote an Ivy Park x Adidas collaboration.
The Carters had fun for Halloween last year by dressing up as characters from Disney’s 2000s animated sitcom, The Proud Family. Fans had a double take at Beyoncé’s double appearance in the photo shoot.
Little Rumi posed with Madonna in August in a rare sighting out in public with her mum. The “Material Girl” pop icon had attended one of Bey’s Renaissance concerts, and shared the backstage photo on her Instagram.
