Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes would rather poo razorblades than be seen dead at this year’s Oscars. Why? That nasty Anne Hathaway is hosting the ceremony!
You see, Anne did a pretty hilarious impersonation of Katie on an episode of Saturday Night Live back in November. Like, a really, spot-on, talking-out-the-side-of-her-mouth-and-everything impersonation. And Queen Katie was not amused!
“Tom and Katie don’t want to have to cross paths with Anne,” a source told the UK’s Mail on Sunday.
“They used to be friends and took Anne to a Tina Turner concert in 2008 when Anne split up from her boyfriend Raffaello Follieri.
“Katie feels they were really supportive at a difficult time so she feels let down that Anne took to national TV to make fun of her.
“Anne didn’t even warn her it was going to be on TV. The whole thing has left a sour taste with Tom.”
Update: TomKat’s people have denied this little angle, saying they had no plans to go to the Oscars anyway. Wonder if Anne is still in their phone book, though?
