Adam Levine is returning to The Voice.

The Maroon 5 frontman and original Voice coach is returning for season 27 in 2025 following 16 consecutive seasons in the role. 

He’ll reclaim his red chair on the NBC show alongside new coach Kelsea Ballerini, who previously served as a season 16 battle advisor. 

The country artist also filled in as coach during season 20.

NBC already revealed that Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani will serve as coaches for season 26 this fall. 

Bublé is also set to return in the spring along with coach John Legend.

Levine left the show in 2019 after serving as as coach on the competition show since its debut in 2012. He lead singers to the big win three times. 

He was ultimately replaced by Gwen Stefani who served alongside Blake Shelton, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson.

At the time, host Carson Daly said Levine will “always be a cherished member of The Voice family.”

The Voice was the most-watched alternative series for the 2023-24 season, according to live plus 7 day results. It’s a presentation of MGM Television, Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon, and ITV Studios The Voice USA, Inc. The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as an executive producer along with Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Amanda Zucker, Kyra Thompson, Adam H. Sher, and Barry Poznick.
