Alison Hammond lands another show away from This Morning as she’s ‘poached’ from ITV

ITV star Alison Hammond is adding another exciting role to her already impressive career, as she prepares to host a new travel show on BBC Two.

The beloved *This Morning* presenter has revealed that she will be teaming up with her son, Aidan, for a new series titled *Florida Unpacked*.

The show will air on BBC Two and be available on BBC iPlayer starting January 27.

Alison, who is a fan favorite on *This Morning*, announced the news on social media, sharing her excitement with her followers.

In her post, she said: “Florida on a budget with me and my son @aidanhammond555 coming soon on @bbciplayer and bbc2. 27 th Jan @rockoystermedia pic by @rankinarchive.”

The travel show will focus on exploring Florida on a budget, offering viewers tips and tricks for saving money on everything from food and accommodation to travel expenses.

With her background as a former travel rep before her rise to fame on *Big Brother*, Alison is well-equipped to guide viewers through the best budget-friendly options the Sunshine State has to offer.

This new opportunity marks another milestone in Alison’s already thriving career. While she remains a staple on *This Morning* as co-host alongside Dermot O’Leary on Fridays, Alison has also expanded her TV presence in other areas. In 2023, she joined *The Great British Bake Off* as a co-host, stepping into the role following Matt Lucas’s departure from the popular Channel 4 show. She also fronts the British reality documentary series *For the Love of Dogs* on ITV, a role she stepped into after the tragic passing of Paul O’Grady in March 2023.

Alison’s new venture on BBC Two is just one of the many projects she’s been involved with recently. Known for her warmth, charm, and infectious sense of humor, she has captured the hearts of millions of viewers. Her role on *This Morning* is particularly beloved, where she has been a regular co-presenter since 2021, following her initial appearance as a reporter on the show in 2002. Over the years, Alison has become a household name, known not only for her presenting skills but for her down-to-earth nature and relatability.

Her career success has led to significant financial achievements. According to reports, Alison’s net worth is estimated to be between £1 million and £4 million, thanks to her wide array of roles in television and entertainment. On *This Morning*, she earns an estimated £600,000 annually. Alison’s high profile has also led to lucrative brand partnerships with major companies like Crown Bingo and DFS Furnishings. In 2022, she even launched her own clothing line in collaboration with *In The Style*, further cementing her status as a businesswoman in addition to her TV career.

In addition to her television work, Alison has ventured into the literary world. Last year, she released her debut rom-com novel *Bombshell*, which has been met with praise from critics, including television personality Vanessa Feltz. With her growing list of accomplishments, it’s clear that Alison’s talents extend far beyond the world of television presenting.

The upcoming travel show with her son will see the pair explore Florida while staying on a budget, with the aim of helping viewers discover affordable ways to enjoy the popular holiday destination. The show consists of 10 episodes, and it promises to offer valuable insights into how to cut costs on everything from dining out to travel expenses.

Alison’s success story is a testament to her versatility and relentless work ethic. From her early days on *Big Brother* to becoming a household name with *This Morning*, Alison has consistently proven that her charisma, hard work, and authenticity can open doors across different industries. As she continues to take on new projects, both on-screen and off, her fans can look forward to more exciting ventures from the dynamic star. Whether it’s hosting a new show, writing a novel, or fronting campaigns for top brands, Alison Hammond’s career shows no signs of slowing down.
