Amanda Holden, the popular Britain’s Got Talent judge, has shared her thoughts on the brain tumour diagnosis of her close friend, TV presenter Davina McCall.

and concern upon hearing the news of Davina’s health crisis, which has captured the public’s attention over the past few months.

Davina, best known for her work on Long Lost Family and The Masked Singer, discovered the colloid cyst by sheer chance. 

She was given a free health scan after giving a talk on the menopause, which led to the unexpected diagnosis. 

After undergoing brain surgery in November, Davina opened up about the impact of the tumour on her life. 

In a candid conversation on Steven Bartlett’s Begin Again podcast, Davina revealed the emotional journey she’s been on, explaining how the tumour “had taken hold of me” and made her feel like she was living in constant danger. She expressed initial frustration, saying it made her feel “every day like I’m in danger.”

For Amanda, hearing about Davina’s diagnosis was a wake-up call. She admitted that the news knocked her for six, especially when it came on the heels of her co-host Jamie Theakston’s own health scare. Amanda reflected on how these alarming incidents made her reassess her perspective on life and health. “I checked in on Davina,” she said. “She’s possibly the nicest person in our industry.
