Through her Instagram account Anne Hathaway has shared happy news with her followers on social networks: she is expecting her second child.

“It’s not for a #2 movie,” the actress wrote alongside a black and white profile photograph of her in which she shows off her pregnant belly. In the beautiful message that accompanies the image,

Hathaway also had some emotional words for those other women who have more difficulties getting pregnant:

“Far from the jokes, and for all those who are going through the hell of infertility and conception, please know that it has not been an easy road in any of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love.”

The baby the actress is expecting will be her second child, the result of her relationship with fellow actor Adam Shulman, to whom she has been married for almost seven years.

Three years ago, in 2016, her first child, Jonathan Rosebanks, was born. Without a doubt happy news for the couple, one of the most established in Hollywood.

After announcing her pregnancy, Anne Hathaway will surely be away from filming for a while. However, these last few months have been very active for the actress who has just filmed several projects. She, along with Ben Affleck, has worked on Dee Rees’ new film, “Last Thing He Wanted”; She has also shared the spotlight with Mark Ruffalo and Tim Robbins in Todd Haynes’ new project – which does not yet have an official title. And, under the orders of Robert Zemeckis, Hathaway will appear in “The Witches”, a remake of “The Curse of the Witches”, which starred Anjelica Huston in 1990.
