Anne Hathaway always looks put together. Whether stepping out on the red carpet or just running errands, her skin seems to glow from within.
Recently, The Devil Wears Prada star floored fans with a stunning, fresh-faced selfie via an Instagram post. The star showed off her radiant complexion—freckles included.
In the photo, which has garnered over 3.5 million likes on Instagram, the actress is clearly enjoying a bit of rest and relaxation in bed, with wavy hair fanned out around her head as she lays on a pillow in bed.
“Swipe right for a warm surprise…” Hathaway captioned the photo. The second photo shows a latte she received from a barista who was clearly as in awe of her beauty as the rest of us.
The drink revealed a detailed image of Hathaway with frothed milk as its medium.
Fans simply can’t stop raving about how amazing the actress looks. “She doesn’t age. like AT ALL 😩😩” one fan wrote.
Another called her “too beautiful” while one fan wrote: “The only skincare routine I need is yours, what have you done every day since your 20s 😂”
In fact, lots of fans demanded The Princess Diaries actress’ skincare secrets. While we are all waiting on Hathaway to drop her full routine, we do have some insight into how she gets such a radiant glow.
“Anne is incredibly disciplined when it comes to her skin,” Hathaway’s go-to facialist, Su-Man recently told Net-a-Porter. And while Su-Man didn’t provide Hathaway’s full skincare lineup, she did give a few tips for glowing skin: do a daily facial massage, exfoliate, hydrate, and apply sunscreen. Lastly? “Consistency is essential if you want beautiful skin for longer,” Su-Man explained. “You get out what you put in, and a little bit of care every day will make all the difference. There is no magic when it comes to skin, only discipline.”
And, we know that stress plays a role in skin health too. “During stressful times, our bodies tend to produce more cortisol, and this also triggers excess oil production,” among other symptoms, David Lortscher, M.D., CEO of Curology and board-certified dermatologist previously told Prevention.
Hathaway, like the rest of us, deals with stress. But, the star shared one of her stress-relief rituals that helps keep her calm. She sets a timer for twelve minutes and writes her worries down on paper. “You spew it all out, you do not read it,” she explained in the interview. “The timer goes off, you tear it out of the book, and you light it on fire,” she added. “Literally on fire. All of this energy, this angst, this rage—everything is smoke.”
